Pilar Vaile, P.C. provides affordable, neutral alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services in all areas of the law, in metro Albuquerque, as well as throughout the State of New Mexico and western and mid-western/central United States.

Upon opening its doors in 2010, the firm initially focused on providing mediation, arbitration and contract Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) services in employment and labor related matters. The firm’s President, Pilar Vaile, has over seven years experience as a decision-maker in labor, employment, and administrative law related matters, and four years of experience as an advocate in labor and employment law, and complex civil litigation.

Since opening, however, the firm has expanded its focus considerably. Our experience in the last few years has taught us that clients need high quality, accessible dispute resolution services in all areas of life, including “hearth and home,” the work place, as consumers, as businesses, as neighbors, and in the community at large. Accordingly, the firm now addresses the multitude of legal and interpersonal disputes confronting clients in their daily lives, 24/7, and accepts guardian ad litem (GAL) appointments, and other neutral engagements:

serving as ALJ or hearing examiner for all areas of administrative law;
mediation of foreclosure matters;
mediation and arbitration of commercial contract disputes;
mediation and arbitration of consumer disputes;
mediation and arbitration of domestic relations matters;
mediation and arbitration of general civil actions;
settlement facilitation;
neighborhood/community mediation;
land use facilitation;
other large group facilitation; and
conflict or communication coaching.

Based on her experience and training, the firm’s principal is currently admitted to arbitration and mediation panels throughout central New Mexico and the nation. Her neutral panel membership includes the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS); the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA); the Permanent Panel (Western Div.) for the U.S. Postal Service and the American Postal Workers Union (USPS/APWU); the New Mexico Department of Vocational Rehabilitation; First, Second and Thirteenth Judicial Districts in New Mexico; the City of Albuquerque; and various public employee labor relations boards, including those in California, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
